Do drupal developers dream of cached sheep?
Last night I had the Elusive Node dream again. You know that dream. You all do. The one about Access Control Lists, OG Audiences and Taxonomy Access Controls. The one where you want to provide access to a node, but it keeps slipping away. You want to run after it but your debugger steps ever so slowly through your code, like it’s fighting its way past a fog of invisible breakpoints.
And on those very rare occasions that you’re near, when you can almost smell your node, a loose strand of code, left over from another access control module wraps its ethereal tentacles around your precious bounty and snatches it away, not even leaving a shadow copy behind.
That’s when you wake up sad and empty. And utterly alone.
